A Scroll, a Savior, and a Song (Revelation 5:1-14)

Revelation 5 takes us into the throne room of heaven, where all creation waits for someone worthy to open the sealed scroll. Drawing on the themes of inheritance and redemption throughout Scripture, we see that Jesus alone is both the rightful heir and the perfect Kinsman-Redeemer who has reclaimed what humanity lost through His sacrificial death. As John's tears turn to worship, we are reminded that our hope is not found in changing circumstances but in the Lamb who was slain and now reigns with all authority. The worship of heaven swells from the elders to countless angels and ultimately to every creature, declaring that Christ alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.
