The Throne of God (Revelation 4:1-11)

Revelation 4 lifts our eyes from a world of uncertainty to the throne of God, where John is given a breathtaking vision of heaven's King. Before revealing God's plans, Christ reveals God's glory, reminding us that our greatest need is not more answers, but a greater vision of Him. Surrounded by unceasing worship, the four living creatures and twenty-four elders declare the holiness and worthiness of the One who reigns over all things. This chapter calls us to humility, trust, worship, surrender, and hope as we remember that the throne of heaven is never vacant. No matter what we face, God's sovereign rule remains unchanged.
