To The Church in Pergamum (Revelation 2:12-17)

May 10, 2026    Doug Crawford

In Revelation 2:12-17, Jesus speaks to the church in Pergamum—a city filled with pagan worship and spiritual darkness, described as “where Satan’s throne is.” Though some believers remained faithful even unto death, others began compromising with false teaching and worldly influence. This message explores how Satan often accomplishes through subtle temptation what he cannot accomplish through direct opposition. Christ’s call to His church is clear: repent, hold fast to the truth, and remain faithful citizens of His kingdom in a compromising world. (NOTE: the audio cut out before the end of the sermon.)
