The First Disciples (John 1:35-51)

In today's message, we're challenged to examine what we're truly seeking in life. The Gospel of John introduces us to Jesus' first disciples, highlighting their curiosity and eagerness to 'come and see' who He is. This invitation to 'come and see' isn't just for those early followers - it's for us today. Are we seeking temporary satisfaction in worldly pursuits, or are we seeking the eternal fulfillment found only in Christ? The imagery of Jesus as the true vine reminds us that our spiritual vitality depends on staying connected to Him. Just as branches wither when separated from the vine, we too struggle when we try to live independently from God. This message urges us to abide in Christ, finding our true identity and purpose in Him rather than in fleeting earthly achievements or social media popularity.
